~SOY CANDLES ~ ALL NATURAL ~ A RENEWABLE RESOURCE ~

I made these with my first kit. It was so much fun that I had to order more supplies. I could not believe how easy it was to make these beautiful candles.

HAND POURED CUSTOM CANDLES

GO GREEN BE KIND TO THE EARTH

Soy Candles: a clean, all natural product, they burn slower and cooler than paraffin candles.

While I was making these I was adding the color chips to the melted wax and some of the wax splashed onto my hand. I thought "oh great a wax burn"; but I was so wrong. Although the wax was in a liquid state and hot so I thought it did not burn me. This was great; it felt like warm oil. So I rubbed some on my dry nail beds and cuticles. It was like a hand treatment.

I took my first batch of candles to my sister in law's house for her "Girls Day Out". I just had to show them this neat wax temperature deal. So I lit a candle and let it burn for a while then I put my finger in the melted wax and rubbed it on my cuticles. The girls were amazed and quite eager to try it.

I sold over half of my candles that day and took orders for certain colors and fragerances. It was a very good day for candles.

Hand-Poured Soy Candles: so easy to make; release your inner creative self.

If you can heat water and pour; then you can make candles.

Do you know what paraffin candles are made of?

I do. Petroleum; "Paraffin is the bottom of the barrel in the refinement process. It is the fuel company's garbage."

Paraffin candles give off soot which can blacken walls, ceilings and you. Yes, you. If they can blacken walls and ceilings then just think what they do to the air you breathe - into your lungs.

Well thats not my idea of clean air. I personally was turned off to paraffin candles after reading about how they were made. I just hate the thought of breathing in soot from a petroleum by-product. So now I take my all natural soy candles to the neighborhood yard sale site and sell them for extra money and making them is so much fun. Check the website there is so much more to learn and to do.
