~SOY CANDLES ~ ALL NATURAL ~ A RENEWABLE RESOURCE ~

I made these with my first kit. It was so much fun that I had to order more supplies. I could not believe how easy it was to make these beautiful candles.

HAND POURED CUSTOM CANDLES

GO GREEN BE KIND TO THE EARTH

Soy Candles: a clean, all natural product, they burn slower and cooler than paraffin candles.

While I was making these I was adding the color chips to the melted wax and some of the wax splashed onto my hand. I thought "oh great a wax burn"; but I was so wrong. Although the wax was in a liquid state and hot so I thought it did not burn me. This was great; it felt like warm oil. So I rubbed some on my dry nail beds and cuticles. It was like a hand treatment.

I took my first batch of candles to my sister in law's house for her "Girls Day Out". I just had to show them this neat wax temperature deal. So I lit a candle and let it burn for a while then I put my finger in the melted wax and rubbed it on my cuticles. The girls were amazed and quite eager to try it.

I sold over half of my candles that day and took orders for certain colors and fragerances. It was a very good day for candles.

Hand-Poured Soy Candles: so easy to make; release your inner creative self.

If you can heat water and pour; then you can make candles.

Do you know what paraffin candles are made of?

I do. Petroleum; "Paraffin is the bottom of the barrel in the refinement process. It is the fuel company's garbage."

Paraffin candles give off soot which can blacken walls, ceilings and you. Yes, you. If they can blacken walls and ceilings then just think what they do to the air you breathe - into your lungs.

Well thats not my idea of clean air. I personally was turned off to paraffin candles after reading about how they were made. I just hate the thought of breathing in soot from a petroleum by-product. So now I take my all natural soy candles to the neighborhood yard sale site and sell them for extra money and making them is so much fun. Check the website there is so much more to learn and to do.

It really works! HONEST!

I love Weight Watchers.

I joined 5 years ago when my doctor decided that I needed a prescription to treat my high blood pressure. I was 30 pounds overweight with a strong family history of diabetes.

As a healthcare worker and a child of a severe diabetic I knew that I did not want to travel down that road. I had tried dieting on my own with no success.

So turned to Weight Watchers.
It was a little confusing my first week but everyone was so eager to help and guide me that I quickly got the hang of it.

The pounds started coming off and I was finally given the ok to stop the high blood pressure pills. I ate the foods that I enjoy and like, Weight Watchers just showed me how to do it in a healthy way.

Check out this great e-book on Weight Watchers and get a $5 rebate when you order.

The need to work from home.

It all started three years ago in January. One cold January morning while waiting at the end of our street with my son for his bus. My husband who had left a couple of hours earlier came flying down the street like a bat out of hades. My heart immediately dropped to the pit of my stomach. And as he jumped out of the van and grabbed me with tears in his eyes my mind started reeling. Then he told me, "I did it, I left, I quit, I quit". Relieved that everyone I loved was still alive and healthy, I realized that our world had just crashed to the pavement. I was the sole bread winner. So I grabbed my faith in God and told my husband, "its OK, God will provide, He will not forsake us". So my pursuit of earning extra income began. I tried the fill out surveys for cash; but they were so long and boring and filled extra stuff that I just could not stand to see them in my inbox. I tried the "Get Paid to Try Products" sites; ordering the product was easy enough but I didn't like having to use my credit card to order (since money was a problem now) and the unenroll process for these products were tedious. And they only paid you after you had accumulated $50; which meant that you had spent about the same amount to get that amount. I didn't like that either. Then one day I stumbled upon an article about "Working at Home and having fun", it peeked my interest, so I read it. The article talked about how you could make money by being creative and starting a new hobby. It was something that took no special skills, almost anyone could do this (except very young children). It is an earth friendly "Go Green" product and I can work it as much or as little as I want.
